CanPrint maintains up-to-date pre-press facilities incorporating leading technology for scanning, proofing, imposing and platemaking. We are equipped with the latest computer hardware and software.

• Kodak computer-to-plate system incorporating Prinergy PDF workflow.
• Black and white, and colour laser printers.
• Epson 9800 inkjet plotters.
• HP DesignJet 5500 inkjet plotters.
• Flat bed colour scanner to A3 size.

We can handle all common graphic arts, page makeup and illustration software, including:

• Adobe InDesign CS 3
• Quark XPress
• Adobe Photoshop 6, 7 & 8
• Adobe Pagemaker

For quickest turn-around, we accept print-ready PDF directly into our PDF-workflow.

Proofing

CanPrint offers clients the following options for proofing:

• Black and white or colour laser proofing using conventional laser printers;
• Post-RIP Indigo digital colour proofs; and,
• Post-RIP digital inkjet colour proofing.

Electronic file transfer

You can transmit copy to us electronically 24 hours a day, using either email or by FTP. Our FTP server enables you to send files of any size. Our systems are connected to the Internet through a 5 Mbit fibre-optic connection, making transfers fast and efficient.
